Firmament
The sky has always filled me with a sense of wonder. It is constantly shifting and changing, yet it remains a constant in the human experience. Whenever we look up, it connects each one of us. In my collection of work, I aim to capture the endlessness and ever-changing nature of the sky. I take photographs during different transitional periods of the sky, whether it is just after sunrise, during a brewing storm, or at sunset. By blending multiple images, I create almost otherworldly spaces that one could fall into or get lost in, called skyscapes. With each image, I try to enhance and explore the variety of intense colors that I find as I contemplate the skies above me.
